What is the best month to visit Bromo and Ijen Crater?
The dry season from April to October is ideal. Skies are clear for Bromo sunrise, and trekking paths at Ijen are dry and safe. Blue fire visibility is also highest during dry months.
How do I travel from Mount Ijen to Bali?
Our tours include seamless transfer from Ijen Crater to Ketapang Ferry Port in Banyuwangi. After a short 45-minute ferry ride to Gilimanuk (Bali), our partner drivers can take you directly to Ubud, Canggu, or Kuta.
Is the Ijen Blue Fire trek suitable for beginner hikers?
The trek is 3km uphill on a paved/dirt path (around 1.5 – 2 hours). While accessible to moderate fitness levels, warm clothing and proper shoes are required. Gas masks are mandatory and provided on all our tours.
